We're all lovers of freedom,
Let's drink to the liberty soon to come!
Women and men are all equal born,
We're second to none!
Arise, ladies, let's fight for the rights of ours,
Eradicate all the past humiliations.
If you'd like to join me and be my compeer,
Let's restore the country by our own hands to her glory.

The old customs are disgraceful and debasing,
We were yoked as cows and horses in a miserable living.
The dawning of civilization is coming along,
Independence is the foremost indebted to us for long.
We'll root out all enslaving ways of thinking,
And be capable women of knowledge and learning.
Let's shoulder our responsibilities and obligations,
Live up to the expectations to be the nation's heroines.
