  Question of the Week

Tell Us: Why Do You Think Early Childhood Education Is Important?

Yesterday marked 50 years since President Lyndon B. Johnson created Head Start -- a program to help meet the emotional, social, health, nutritional, and psychological needs of preschool-aged children from low-income families.

President Obama has made clear the importance of expanding access to high-quality early childhood education -- but we also want to hear from you and get your feedback.

Share with us how early education made an impact in your life, or the life of your children -- and why you think we should make it available to more of America's children.
